Antibacterial drug 4^th generation fluoroquinolone

The active substance is moxifloxacin, has a wide spectrum of action (Gram +, Gram -, anaerobes, protozoa).

Mechanism of action: Inhibits bacterial type II topoisomerases (DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV) required for replication, transcription and repair of bacterial DNA.

Indications:
• community-acquired pneumonia
• complicated infectious diseases of the skin and soft tissues
